BEAVER CREEK, CO - (October 4, 2007) The popular restaurant Rocks Modern Grill at the AAA Four-Diamond all-suite Beaver Creek Lodge has appointed Aaron Bennett executive chef.
Bennett comes to the 72-room Beaver Creek Lodge and Rocks Modern Grill from the Ritz-Carlton Club in Aspen where he served as executive chef and food and beverage manager since August of 2003. There, he oversaw all management and staff for the dining room, room service and banquets. Before working at the Ritz-Carlton, Bennett worked his way through various culinary positions at both The Little Nell in Aspen and Denver’s Brown Palace Hotel.

Strong management skills, the creation of original menus, and a large diverse repertoire of recipes serves as the basis for Bennett’s philosophy. “I don’t want to reinvent the wheel, I just want to make really good food.”
Located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village, Rocks Modern Grill offers beautiful indoor and outdoor seating options, and is known for its daily rotisserie specials and classic American fare with regional influence on flavor and presentation. A true culinary experience, Rocks Modern Grill is a family restaurant with a unique ambiance unlike anything in the area. Rocks on the Run, a deli market, features sandwiches, pastries, juice and coffee to go. Rocks Modern Grill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours of operation are: 7:00 – 10:30am and 11:00am – 10:00pm.
The Kessler Wine Room is the perfect venue for celebrating special occasions and events in a private setting and can accommodate groups up to 14. Located directly off of Rocks Modern Grill, The Kessler Wine Room boasts a view looking directly out over Vail Valley.
The hotel's 72 one-bedroom guest suites feature a mountain chic décor comprised of oversized headboards, commissioned artwork by French artist Jean Claude Roy, cozy pillow-top mattresses, down comforters, a LCD flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, and Bose® Wave CD radio.
